Who We Are

Image Therapy Services is located in Huntington Station, New York.  Our treatment offers psychotherapy, a non-medical method for addressing many psychological disorders and sources of mental stress in the lives of individuals, couples, and families. We improve self-image and confidence. With couples we improve communication and rebuild the ties that brought you together by working with our marriage counseling program.

We specialize in teens and young adults with developmental disabilities and Asperger’s Syndrome.  Our addiction services work with all types of substance abuse and specialize in working closely with Suboxone providers to supports breaking the addiction cycle. Whether you are having trouble moving past a traumatic event or are struggling with a recurring problem, you don’t have to face your trials alone.

Our counseling sessions provide you a confidential outlet to discuss chronic issues, as well as constructive methods to manage them. No issue is too great or small Addiction, Adolescent and teen issues, Anger management, Anxiety, Child behavior problems, Depression, Grief and loss, Parenting challenges, Relationship and intimacy problems, Social inhibitions, Stress management, Trauma and PTSD. Dennis Feuerstein

is the director and lead clinician at Image Therapy Services. He has been involved in many capacities over the past 25 years; experiences as a psychiatric social worker, supervised supported work training and transition services programs at leading non-profits also co-director of social skills program and special education teacher in NYC,. He practices as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, offering humanistic approach to therapy that helps his patients maximize their full potential. Dennis approaches therapy using evidence based practices which helps his clients better manage stress, anxiety, and depression. He specializes in substance abuse counseling, stress management, relationship and marriage counseling as working with special needs young adults and children.

McGeeKelsey McGee

is a licensed social worker at Image Therapy Services. Kelsey graduated from Stony Brook University, with a Master’s degree, in social work and a Bachelor’s degree, from Roger Williams University, in Psychology.  She has experience with working with a variety of psychosocial, mental health, and medical needs. She has experience working with individuals with mental illness, children with special needs and developmental disorders, young adults at the collegiate level, and combat veterans transitioning to civilian life. Kelsey also has experience in providing group therapy; i.e Anger Management. She utilizes an eclectic approach tailored to each individual client.

eveEve Weinberg

is a clinical social worker at Image Therapy Services. She has spent the past 25 years working in several settings providing her with the expertise and experience needed to work with diverse populations and multiple issues.
She is experienced working with chronically ill individuals at one of the best regional hospitals on Long Island, as well as supervising and mentoring colleagues and social work interns. Clinically, Eve’s focus is on psychiatric disorders specializing in anxiety and depression, family issues, substance abuse, parenting and grief counseling.
